Professional Certification Program
WAMOA's Professional Certification Program is designed to promote and foster the highest degree of professionalism in its members engaged in managing, maintaining, and constructing educational facilities. WAMOA's members may apply for, and be granted, certification acknowledging professional achievement at three different levels: Educational Facilities Specialist (EFS), Educational Facilities Administrator (EFA), and Educational Facilities Master (EFM). Each of these levels represents, and requires, different degrees of demonstrated knowledge and experience. Certification is valid for a period of five (5) years and then must be renewed based upon an approved recertification program designed to encourage continued professional education and growth in the facilities realm. Compliance with the certification requirements is determined by a board comprising representatives of WAMOA, WASBO, WASA, and WASSDA.
