2008
Continue to push for designated funding for M & O through the legislative process and OSPI. Target the Small Schools Repair Grant Program.
Consider and investigate BOC training/certification as a possible resource for development of a more comprehensive WAMOA Certification Program and/or Curriculum.
Continue to market WAMOA to school superintendents and administrators.
Mentor members to become leaders in the WAMOA organization.
Encourage participation at the legislative level through mentoring.
Promote and increase participation in an annual Leadership Training Seminar for members.
Celebrate and market our successes; Legislative actions, Educational Partners Program, Expansion of the Mini-Conferences in each region.
Establish regional mini-conferences using standardized business practices for registration, fees, sponsorships, etc. Additionally focus on school administrators and non-WAMOA member districts and colleges.
Facilitate a smooth transition in the replacement of WAMOA business office personnel.
Conduct a needs assessment and begin development of a job description for a future WAMOA executive director position.
2009
Continue to provide regional mini-conferences using standardized business practices for registration, fees, sponsorships, etc. Continue to also focus on school administrators and non-WAMOA member districts and colleges.
Continue to provide training opportunities for M & O workers in conjunction with the region mini-conferences.
Push to increase the amount of designated funding for M & O through legislative and OSPI contacts. Target the Small School Repair Grant Program and other opportunities as they arise.
Continue to market WAMOA to school superintendents and administrators.
Celebrate and market our successes; Legislative actions, Educational Partners Program, Expansion of the region mini-conferences.
Promote the value of becoming a WAMOA member. Retain membership by adding value and showing the value to ALL members. Encourage all members to attend the State Conference.
Promote membership at the Educational Associate Member level.

Establish Learning opportunities for our staff; consider the mini-conferences as a mechanism to establish training objectives for state wide consistency. Utilize resources from our Educational Partners, offer programs at mini-conferences.
Promote affiliation with other organizations including but not limited to NSPMA, CEFPI, and CSI.
Work with the Certification committee and the Professional Development committee to begin professional development courses at the regional meetings. Take advantage of the ESD teleconferencing capabilities.
Continue development job description for a future WAMOA executive director position and initiate consideration and discussion of funding availability..
2010
Offer workshop track for Associate Members at Summer Mini-Conferences and the WAMOA Annual Conference.
Continue to market WAMOA to school superintendents and administrators.
Continue to mentor members to become leaders in the WAMOA organization.
Continue to promote the value of becoming a WAMOA member.
Finalize job description for a WAMOA executive director position and identify funding.
Explore the possibility of moving the annual conference among several pre-approved locations.
2011
Complete process of defining, selecting, and hiring an executive director.
Continue work with legislature, OSPI, and administrators.
Continue to mentor members to become leaders in the WAMOA organization.
Continue to promote the value of becoming a WAMOA member.
Continue to expand the Leadership Training Seminar.

Identify and consider implementing opportunities to mentor our Maintenance, Custodial, and Grounds work force to become our successors.
Continue to mentor members to become leaders in the WAMOA organization.
